His name is Miracle and his story is unimaginable to some—rescued on the 7th August 2016 and discharged from the hospital on the 16th August 2016. Today, doctors said it is a “Miracle” that he survived.
On the 8th August 2016 Miracle was diagnosed with Canine Distemper, Canine Babesiosis, Canine Erlichiosis (both being tick fever), jaundice (due to liver partly functioning), anemia (RBC was only 12, normal is 35-55) and white blood cells was 65.9 (meaning infection—normal is 6- 17). Clearly, he was close to death and everyone thought he wouldn’t make it.
But he survived; he had the will to live and he made it through. Miracle’s story is a truly inspiring one to many and today, Miracle is a survivor. Love and care can make all things possible.
